We have received financial support for the implementation of the project "Regional Conservation and Storage Centres: Research into the Needs of Cultural Institutions" under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO), Component: Economic Resilience and Competitiveness; Investment A2.5.1: Programme Supporting the Activities of Cultural Sector and Creative Industries Entities for the Stimulation of Their Development. The value of the grant is PLN 64,640.00.

The project involves researching the needs of museums in terms of storage and conservation space. The aim is to determine the scale of demand for external spaces for collection storage and the expected technical and conservation standards.

The research will cover institutions from the Silesian and Małopolska regions – through focus group interviews (FGI) and an online survey addressed to a broader group of institutions.

The outcome will be a report with a needs assessment and recommendations for the development of an effective and appropriate service model that responds to the actual market needs in the area of safe storage and conservation of museum collections.
